The story in this novel is the confrontation of the two worlds, in one of which the hero’s mother lives, miraculously escaping the concentration camp in Paris of the forty -second, and in the other - his girlfriend nicknamed Bubush. Only the new world outside the window is composed by engineers, and the old one, with “Zhitan” cigarettes and blood-red lipstick, still knocks in the heart of Claas ashes. Both worlds are full of ghosts, both are virtual and parallel to life that is happening, in the plot, between Berlin and San Francisco. Which of them is real - it will be necessary to find out the heroes of this brilliant, chaotic, crazy novel, which, in fact, is alive of modern literature.
