Strands are a poor, but friendly family. Allen, the head of the family, a worthy job, a beautiful wife, smart and compassionate children. They live quietly and measuredly until a stranger who was a victim of an attack appears on their threshold. Strands have no idea that this person is Russell Hazen, a rich lawyer with Wall Street.
