Dmitry Raskin is a writer, poet, playwright, whose work is at the junction of literature and philosophy. The title character of the novel is Boris Superfin - an intellectual, a metaphysicist and a poorly reserved writer who has long moved to Germany, who worked as a guard in Dresden and occasionally lectures the same as he is to emigrants.
In the fall of 2014, the hero is in Russia. He is trying to understand her often terrifying realities, to find out what is happening in the heads of his friends and acquaintances. In the course of action, Superfin meets with his friends, classmates, former mistresses. Their stories, their destinies (whether they are dramatic or comical) lead the hero of the novel to understand the situation where the "meaning of life" and "absurdity of being" becomes only some kind of stamps. The circumstances are formed so that he has to oppose everyone in order to protect either "domestic literature", or his own dignity
