The new, fourth poetic book - "Bereginya" is another stage in the work of Olga Surkova. Poems are filled with sincere experiences and pride in the homeland, compatriots and native land. The author is looking for creative sources in simplicity inherent in folk poetry, and, following the traditions of the classic Russian verse, often finds pure springs of words, emotions and thoughts in the world around him. The content of the book is dominated by a love lyrics with all the shades of feelings of the female soul and character. The poet reveals to people in verses his truth with joys and sorrows, the simple human happiness of a woman, moving on her life path by faith, hope and love. Often, folklore melodic motifs are present in the verses, which attracts composers, and the texts of many verses have already become songs
