The satirical tale of the famous British writer George Orwell "Cross Courtyard" is an incredible story that made a lot of noise, until 1988, banned in the USSR. The rebellious animals drove off the cruel owner-exploiter and took possession of the farm, proclaiming their republic, where everyone was equal. But gradually a privileged class of animals, which takes the place of exiled people, stands out from the total mass. The author masterfully traces the transition from the idea of universal equality to dictatorship and totalitarian regime. The Orwell parable written more than 70 years ago is more relevant than ever.
