The novel “Around the Tea Table” is, in fact, a cycle of four stories written at different times, but united by common characters, the plot line and the atmosphere of those years (mid -seventies - the end of the eighties) It seems to me that he conveys a certain section of the life of the Moscow intelligentsia, not too politicized, but occupied mainly by the table, outputs and thoughts of life in the hospital ward. I did not seek to convey in this novel my understanding of life. If I sought to convey something, this is my misunderstanding of life, where everything changes so unpredictably and so unexpectedly develops. In another edition, the novel was published in the journal Our Street, No. 5 (66), 2005
