Galina Alyaeva is a successor to the traditions of Russian realism. Life truth for her is the main principle in literature, and this strengthens the feeling of sincerity, the honesty of her works. The novel “Apple without Apple” most clearly reflects the features of Alyaeva’s work, along with the main moral principles, where human relations, related ties and the issue of continuity are at the forefront. The action of the novel takes place against the backdrop of a difficult historical situation in Russia of the 1920s-1940s, in the center of the narrative-the usual family of the Levins. Fyodor, having learned about the threatening dispossession, decides to flee the village. Once in an unusual environment, once a friendly family begins to collapse. What ultimately awaits Levins? What price will they have to pay in order not to lose the basis of all the foundations - love? Unexpected plot twists, thin psychological strokes, the author naturally and organically prescribes life conflicts, returning the reader to a short past and revealing the tragedy that happened to our country
