The collection of Oleg Popenkov "On Love, once again" included four stories about our compatriots who lived and worked, fulfilling their duty of a person and a citizen, sometimes committing actions, bordering on the feat, which was based on love. Love for people and homeland. The story "Father" is dedicated to the father of the author, who passed through the Great Patriotic War, who brought up two sons, to a man extremely decent and talented.
In "sad songs", the heroine is the conductor of long -distance trains with an unusually clean and noble soul. The other two novels are dedicated to the Middle East, which is known to the author firsthand. In the story "If Allah wishes!" The story of a military translator who worked in the Middle East in the 70s is told. In the “peacekeeping ", the main character, also a military translator, already in our time is captured by the Wahhabis during the battles for the Syrian city of Aleppo. A painful death awaits him, but the case gives him a chance to escape and save others. All the stories are united by faith in the kindness of people and love
