Honore de Balzac, undoubtedly, is one of the best French novelists of the 19th century, who left behind a huge literary heritage, in which he captured the history of a whole society. In his “human comedy”, including about a hundred works, a talented master created a grand gallery of images - at least two thousand representatives of various classes. Among them are sketches from rural life “rural doctor”, the main character of which becomes an exponent of the socio-political ideals of Balzac, using the struggle of private interests for the good of society, limiting the predation of the rich with the help of the church and religious education. The collection also includes three iconic plays by the author: Pamela Giro, stepmother and deeds, in which sincere love, disinterestedness, willingness to sacrifice greed, vanity and pursuit of wealth are contrasted
