"Fly fate" (2015) is the latest of the novels of the Chinese writer Dong Si (b. 1966) and the first of his works, translated into Russian.
In the center of the story, the fate of the young man from the rural hinterland, by the fatal coincidence of the circumstances that did not enter the university and became a migrant worker, but did not leave a dream if you can’t go into people himself, then bring his son there.
This is a piercing story about a person’s confrontation, family and himself, raising questions about the meaning of existence. The novel demonstrates the branded features of the Dong Si - black humor, acute irony and ruthless realism
