In the new collection publication, the immortal works of Ilya Ilf and Evgeny Petrov about the “great combinator” Ostap Bender are reproduced in the author’s version restored by Alexandra Ilyinichny Ilf. Fragments published in their first editions were returned to the texts of the novels, as well as a number of materials from handwritten and typewritten options for works.
