The Fortran programming language was originally designed for mathematical calculations with maximum performance. The latest Fortran 2008 standard includes many modern functional capabilities: objects of object-oriented programming, specialized operations with arrays, types determined by the user and support for parallel calculations.
This training management will help programmers in the Fortran language learn to use all of the above functionality in accordance with modern requirements: modularity, laconicism, object-oriented approach and rational use of resources, as well as the organization of work, taking into account the availability of several processors. The book discusses practical examples of interaction with programs written in the language, memory management, the use of graphics and graphic user interfaces, parallel calculations using the libraries of MPI, OPIMR and mosquitoes (Coarrays) In addition, the author analyzes some numerical algorithms and their implementation, and also shows how to apply some libraries with open source codes
