It is hardly possible to doubts in the high value of the Bible for the past, present and future humanity. On the one hand, in general, the Bible is really opening with any person, and on the other hand, it contains a lot of mysteries, over the decisions of which they worked and now work generations of scientists. Conversations on biblical topics prepared by the famous philologist and addressed to the mass audience are designed to help a non-specialist reader - a believer and unbelieving - to expand and deepen the understanding of the Old and New Testament, to get acquainted with the handwritten tradition and biblical languages, with modern biblical methodology, as well as with the Bible translations on church Slavonic and Russian.
