The basics of control system modeling using linear continuous and impulse dynamic models, mathematical models of random processes, nonlinear and neural network models are considered. Issues of similarity theory and dimension theory are addressed. The main methods of control object identification are presented, highlighting the peculiarities of using time, frequency, spectral, stochastic nonparametric, and parametric identification methods. Based on the theory of estimation and hypothesis testing, the results of modeling are processed and analyzed. The exposition is accompanied by numerous examples illustrating the use of MATLAB technology for solving modeling and identification tasks.
