The development of the system of work with gifted students is an important direction of modern pedagogical science and educational practice in the context of modernization of Russian education, the concept of the federal target program for the development of education, the implementation of the requirements of the Federal State Educational Standard. The creation of conditions ensuring the identification and development of gifted children, the implementation of their potential opportunities is one of the priority social tasks of modern society and requires complexity, systemicity, purposefulness, continuity of mechanisms for building work with gifted children.
The manual presents the support models for the special giftedness of children in the regional educational system: theoretical justification, the regulatory framework of the experiment (local documents), additional programs for supporting gifted children, methodological and diagnostic materials.
