Julia Rostovtseva's stories are very diverse, but they are all united by one thing: they are stories of repentance and finding God. Adults and children, graduate students and lathe operators, church ministers and neophytes - the heroes of these works go through a difficult path from sin and disbelief to finding the grace of Light.
The whole human life consists of "coincidences." And the main feature of Julia Rostovtseva's stories is the recognition of God's hand among these "coincidences." Everything, from what was seen the night before in a dream to a passerby on the street, intertwines here into a single fabric of divine Providence, at the center of which is the literary hero.
Such stories teach us to look at the surrounding world in a new way and to ask ourselves: am I not missing any of the indications from Heaven, because everything is providential...
