The County is dedicated to the 285th anniversary of the first scientific archive of Russia - the archive of the Russian Academy of Sciences - and includes the materials of the first Millerian readings (St. Petersburg, April 23-25, 2013) Among the authors of the collection Scientists, teachers of universities, archivists from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Bryansk, Volgograd, Saratov, Syktyvkar, Engels (Russia), Geatting, Galle, Leipzig (Germany), Riga (Latvia), Ulan Bator (Mongolia) , Krakow (Poland), Nezhin, Odessa, Kharkov (Ukraine) The collection presents research on the history of the academic archive, archival reforms, the history of the Academy of Sciences and its institutions, the International Scientific Relations of the XVII-XXI centuries. New archival data is published on the biographies of science figures, reviews of scientists" funds, results of research on conservation and restoration of documents, as well as articles on the history of the German diaspora in Russia and its scientific study in the XVIII-XX centuries. The book is accompanied by illustrations from the collection of SPF Aran.
