The textbook "Military Pedagogy" covers the most significant issues of modern pedagogical science and practice, as well as the problems of education and upbringing of military personnel faced by modern officers. The publication was prepared by a team of teachers from military universities: the Military Academy of Communications named after S. M. Budenny, the Military University, the Mikhailovsky Military Artillery Academy, the Military Space Academy named after A. F. Mozhaisky, the St. Petersburg Military Institute of the Internal Troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, and others. The authorial team of the textbook includes 18 doctors and 19 candidates of sciences. The head of the authorial team is Oleg Yuryevich Yefremov - Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, laureate of the Russian Government Prize in Education in 2013, author of numerous scientific works on pedagogical issues, textbooks, and teaching aids. The initiator of the series "Textbook for Military Universities," O. Y. Yefremov passed away in September 2015 during the work on this edition. The textbook "Military Pedagogy" is dedicated to his bright memory.
The textbook is designed for cadets, listeners, adjuncts, teachers of military universities, officers, commanders, educators, other officials of the Armed Forces and other law enforcement agencies, individuals undergoing and conducting military training in educational institutions, and all those interested in military pedagogy and pedagogical issues in general.
Approved by the Educational and Methodological Association of Higher Military Educational Institutions in the field of military management of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in humanitarian and social specialties as a textbook for cadets and listeners of higher military educational institutions.
