The book displays a more than 70-year period of activity of the Tula Central Design Research Bureau of Sports and Hunting Weapons (TsKIB Wio) to create small arms and near-combat, from the moment the enterprise was created in 1946 to the present day. For many years, the Central Bank has been a leading weapon developer in the USSR and Russia. Within the walls of this enterprise, a whole galaxy of talented guidelines, capable of creating the whole range of high-class sports and military weapons, worked. Many of the weapons of weapons developed in the TsKIB entered the service of the Armed Forces of the USSR and the RF Armed Forces, were widely distributed in the world and became truly legendary.
Such a rich history of the TSKIB has long attracted the attention of researchers of the history of domestic weapons. Samples created in the walls of this enterprise are devoted to a large number of articles in periodicals, individual departmental publications and Internet publications. But a single work that would cover not only the list of weapons developed in the Central Bank, but also the course of its creation, the difficulties experienced by the designers in this process, and the ways to overcome them has not yet been in Russia. This did not allow you to get a comprehensive idea of how the school of creating weapons in the walls of the Central Committee for Street, and, accordingly, understand the origins of certain constructive solutions or concepts laid down in developed samples.
At some point, the idea of creating a large printed labor, describing the integral picture of the results of the long -term work of the collective, has matured at a certain moment. But it took a lot of time that this idea could come true in the form of a real book. The book consists of two parts: "hunting and sports weapons" and "combat weapons". The sections and chapters of the book describe the historical conditions in which this or that weapon was developed, its tactical and technical characteristics are described, the principle of operation and the structure of samples is described, it is told about the authors of products and copyright groups. For a better understanding of the history of the processes of developing small arms in the Central Committee for the Book, the book shows some samples of small arms developed in the pre-war, military and post-war periods in the Central Design Bureau and 14 by designers, who were transferred to the Central Committee for Station in 1960.
The material of the book was developed on the basis of a collection of weapons of the technical office of the Central Department Store. Among the weapons stored in it there are amazing, incredible products in the level of perfection. The author described the device and the functioning of the mechanisms of the most interesting of these samples of the weapon as fully as possible, cited their detailed color photos, including internal device, individual parts and mechanisms.
The book is designed for lovers of the history of domestic weapons, weapons, employees of military-technical and military-historical museums, students and teachers of weapons specialties studying in specialized universities of our country, as well as young designers of the Central Department Store for the expansion of the technical horizons
