Once upon a time, at the dawn of the Internet, I accidentally found the story of Gleb Bobrov "Alien Fermopils". To say what impressed is nothing to say. Nothing of the kind before was read. And here - just like at home. Naturally, I read everything else written by the author. And first of all - about Afghanistan.
Afghan prose by Gleb Bobrov is a rare, and possibly the only case in modern Russian literature of the Nizova, namely soldier"s reflection on the topic of war. Gleb managed to write a real soldier"s encyclopedia of the Afghan war - to exhaustively describe the life of a soldier and, in general, the entire soldier cosmos". Many tried, but only it succeeded.
The book is not for the faint of heart. However, I strongly recommend reading.
