The book considers the history of the life cycle of one of the most ambiguously evaluated samples of domestic individual small arms - Tokarev self -loading rifle.
Tokarev’s rifle history is considered taking into account the complex of technical, economic and military-political factors that influenced the main stages of its development, production and combat service. The book contains a description of the design and image of Tokarev rifles and their elements, including prototypes and is equipped with a large number of graphs, diagrams, diagrams and other graphic materials.
The second edition of the book differs from the first in-depth illumination of a number of aspects of the history of the Tokarev rifle, introduced into the work based on the study of newly identified archival materials, as well as the addition of previously not published images and descriptions of the automatic rifles of Tokarev and other guardian designers
