The weapon is great. Cold weapons of the Russian army

The second edition of the book is corrected and supplemented and continues a series of books on the armament of the Russian army of the First World War. This series of the series tells of cold weapons: checkers, sabers, broadswords, peaks, daggers, daggers, bayonets that were of combat significance and used as ceremonial in peacetime. A special place in the book is described by experimental samples of cold weapons of the late XIX-early XX centuries, without which the reader’s presentation about the level of development of Russian arms and technical thought would be incomplete.
For each sample, a brief history of its creation and adoption is given, the main changes are highlighted that the system has undergone in the continuation of its issue. Much attention is paid to the use of weapons in the troops, its advantages and disadvantages in the eyes of a soldier.
