This book talks about the history of the creation and development of such an important class of individual infantry weapons as an automatic. Traditionally, the date of birth of the machine gun in Russia is considered to be 1916, when a combat baptism of the design of the famous Russian gunsmith Fedorov received a combat baptism of the First World War. However, it took several decades and another world war, before the concept of the machine gun in its modern sense was able to make its way to put up with a really mass -sample that occurred in our country in 1949.
