Along with the legendary "forty-cap", the 76 mm caliber was stopped by a German offensive near Moscow, fought in Stalingrad and on the Kursk Bulge ...
The F -22 division gun is one of the most high -profile projects in the history of domestic artillery. The first gun, entirely created by Soviet designers, was one of the attempts to adapt the "slow" artillery to a sharply changed pace of war. Such legendary personalities as Marshal Tukhachevsky and Engineer General Vasily Grabin are involved in its creation. The revolutionary design of the gun itself, its reliability and combat qualities led to the fact that even the Wehrmacht willingly used these guns.
The book for the first time describes in detail the creation and production of the F-22, its succession F-22-II, as well as the combat use of Soviet divisional guns
