The book is dedicated to the events of the Great Patriotic War. Bishop Nicholas does not aim to tell in detail about the course of hostilities during the defense of Moscow and other battles of the Great Patriotic War - a lot has been written about this. On the example of the most tragic and most fateful episodes of the war, the author shows that his readiness for sacrificial feat, fidelity and faith helped our Fatherland to survive in this terrible war. The book is addressed to the heirs of the Great Victory, not only to those who today in the columns of the “Immortal Regiment” passes through the streets of our cities, who offers the prayer “On the repose of the warriors, for faith, fatherland and their people who put their lives”, but also to those who come to them for changing. If the memory of our victory, the truth about the Great Patriotic War will need citizens of the great power of the Russian, then the enemies will not forget about our victories.
