The unique book of the famous Russian-Russian designer Vladimir Grigoryevich Fedorov (1874-1966) "Cold Weapons" contains a review of all types and types of cold weapons used in Russia and Europe at the end of the XVIII-early twentieth centuries. Holding research in the field of weapon history, Vladimir Grigoryevich in his book considers the positive and negative aspects of various structures of cold weapons and the possibilities of their combat use. Working in the main artillery department, having access to the richest collections and archives of the artillery museum, Fedorov created this classical work in 1905. The book describes in detail as an offensive weapon, which was in service with cavalry (sabers, checkers, broadswords, peaks, daggers), artillery (des, sabers), infantry (tesaks, bayonets), and defensive (helmets, cuirasses, various shields).
