The civil war and intervention became a natural continuation and inextricable part of not only the Russian revolution, but also of the entire Russian history. For what, with such desperate intransigence, the war was fought, what interests and ideals defended by the opposing sides that fought “to death”? How did they solve the current and historical problems that stood in their way? After all, it was the answers to these questions that led to the victory of some and to the defeat of others.
