The book is dedicated to the most important trial in the history of mankind - the Nuremberg Tribunal. The International Military Tribunal in Nuremberg was the first experience in the history of condemning crimes of a state scale - the ruling regime, its punitive institutions, higher political and military leaders, industrialists and financiers.
The anniversary publication was prepared for the 75th anniversary of the court of peoples, as the Nuremberg International Military Tribunal is often called. It is based on rare archival documents, inaccessible sources, the latest research, as well as the memoirs of contemporaries and direct participants in those distant events. Some of the materials are published for the first time.
The author of the book - Alexander Grigoryevich Zvyagintsev, who gave the long years of jurisprudence - is widely known in Russia and abroad not only as a minister of Themis, but as the writer, historian. The recognized master of action -packed prose, he also successfully engages in fundamental historical research.
