In the new book of the famous historian Arsen Martirosyan, the results of a unique intelligence and historical analysis of military-strategic circumstances on the eve of the war are given on the basis of documents, memoirs and long-term research. For the first time in domestic historiography, accurate data are given that Soviet intelligence services were able to determine the time and accurate date 133 times, and even the hour of starting Germany’s aggression, as well as data on early bringing the border troops into combat readiness and, of course, genuine reasons , by virtue of which the tragedy occurred on June 22, 1941. The book is designed for a wide range of readers.
