The book is devoted to the activities of employees of military counterintelligence in the last years of the existence of the Soviet Union, treacherously destroyed by party functionaries. The author describes real historical events: the fight against communism and fascism, the Second World War, and later the Cold War. In the person of the army Chekist Nikolai Storozhenko, the author tried to create a generalized image of the military counterintelligence of the USSR era of the 70-80s of the twentieth century, who solved and upset the enemy plans, exposed the traitors and spies. It recalls that so far there are states, regardless of the relations of their chapters among themselves, intelligence will actively act, using the most advanced technologies and the achievement of the human mind during the confrontation. To amuse yourself with illusions about the parity reduction of efforts "more to know about the partner" is the greatest error. To prevent the opposite side to obtain state secrets is the most important task of counterintelligence authorities. The main question to which he wants to find the answer "What is the cost of life to live?" The author himself served in Soviet military intelligence, and the stories told by him are based on real events - the activities of moles and werewolves in uniform.
