The school, who graduated in the summer of 1940, Nikolai Khokhlov dreamed of being an actor and “making a movie”. And he began to move along the path of achieving this goal. A year later, his life changed radically. He continued to act, depicting enemies of Soviet power, German officers and foreigners. That"s just the slightest mistake could cost him life. In September 1941, he was recruited by employees of the 2nd NKVD department, headed by Pavel Sudoplatov, and became one of the liquidators from Lubyanka. And in 1954, Nikolai Khokhlov fled to the west. In the USSR, he was sentenced to death in absentia.
In 1957, it was poisoned, presumably with the help of a radioactive isotope - Tallia or Polonia, but survived after several weeks spent in the hospital. According to Khokhlov, this was not the only attempt to poison the KGB of the USSR.
