Dedicated to the military history of Russia of the 9th - early XXI century, presented in the form of a description of wars and armed conflicts in which the Russian state participated. For the first time, an attempt was implemented to comprehensive systematization of military-historical events for which chronology is a natural, but not the only main systemic feature. The material is distributed into four sections corresponding to the most general historical stages of the formation and development of Russian statehood, and the structure of the content of each of them is subordinated to a strict substantive chronological order, which significantly simplifies the reader with the book. The publication includes a set of red -drawn generated genealogy tables of the Russian princes of the Rurikovich, allowing to significantly facilitate the perception of the first section dedicated to the events of the era of Ancient Russia.
