Representatives of the nobility fired, relying on the tradition,
their personal beliefs and their personal ideas about honor. The first
step towards the formation of a duel code in Russia became published
in 1894 "Rules on the procedure for proceeding quarrels in the office /> cereal environment". Later, the codes themselves appeared - V. Durasov,
B. Tonsky, S. Vizhinsky and A. Suvorin.
