The book is dedicated to the history of the Russian army in the era of Peter the Great. On the basis of unique monuments of the late XVII-first quarter of the 18th century, the “memories” of the first Russian emperor and other military relics from the richest meeting of the military-historical museum of artillery, engineering and troops of communications, the author tells about the creation and development of the Russian regular army: from “funny »The military fun of the young king Peter and before the Persian campaign.
