Cold weapons of the Russian Army of the 1817 system

This book was created on the basis of a collection of cold weapons from the Vimaivs funds and a selection of documents on the introduction and production of weapons of the 1817 system from domestic archives. The publication contains documents of the Archive of the Military-Historical Museum of Artillery, Engineering and Communications forces and the Russian State Historical Archive, reflecting the history of Russian cold weapons of the XIX century, images of samples of weapons of lower ranks and officers, as well as their descriptions in accordance with the Vimaivs catalog. The author’s text is intentionally reduced to a minimum for the objective perception by the reader of the presented historical materials.
