"Milestone" is a stone denoting a mile, and in a figurative sense - an important stage, a milestone of life. Such a new milestone of the work of the scientist and writer Konstantin Efetov was his appeal to Crimean history, or rather, to her surviving evidence - Catherine miles, reminiscent of the trip of Catherine II to Crimea. The second part is made up of the alphabet of poetic aphorisms - the aphorist, and the third is made of miniatures -zheseliks, who, despite their little and apparent frivolity, nevertheless cover the theme of a large period of history - from the myths of ancient Greece to the great scientific discoveries of the twentieth century
