"All life and creative fate of Mikhail Alexandrovich Ulyanov were inextricably linked with the Wakhtangian theater. Following the special tradition of the theater, he is passionately, with the utmost self-dedication served as art, worked and created, always feeling responsible to the viewer, before time. Many of the images created by its high talent entered the Krestomatomy of the Domestic Theater and Cinema, penetrated consciousness, forming ideas about the main thing: about spirituality and morality, good and evil.
Mikhail Alexandrovich possessed the special gift of the most sensitive perception of the surrounding world, was acutely aware of the present and his deep connection with the past. He sincerely loved his homeland, was deeply worried about what was happening in the country. All that he created on the stage and on the screen, everything he lived in the real world was always consonant of the spiritual gusts of people, infinitely grateful to him for the truth of life, for loyalty to the laws of conscience, honor, justice.
We are grateful to the fate for the fact that from the day the founding of our publishing house Mikhail Alexandrovich Ulyanov was his president, disinterestedly helped his formation and development. As the initiator and inspirer of most of our publishing projects dedicated to the great historical and cultural and moral heritage of Russia, he was consistent in the desire to resurrect the glorious names of outstanding cultural figures, science and social thought of the past.
Mikhail Ulyanov is a great Russian actor of modernity, a worthy citizen, a noble man - occupies an honorable place in a number of creators who glorified the domestic culture.
In memory, mental appreciation and deep respect, we published an album of photos, which captured the creative life of Mikhail Alexandrovich Ulyanov. We planned to prepare this album to its 80th anniversary when he was still with us.
He did not know about our plans and, perhaps, would not approve them, since in life it was always intelligently modest and far from the vigorous ambitions and the popularity.
