This publication at least partly fills the gap, the existing social history of Russian art of the first half of the 20th century. In the value of the fate of Mikhail Xenofontovich Sokolova (1886-1947), a virtuoso drawrider and painter, a master who is not able to compromise either in creativity, nor in life, the artist who was able to create under any circumstances to the end of the past Calval Path.
