The issue opens with an article dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the 'Middle Ages' journal. In the 'Law and Administration' section, articles about the peculiarities of the reception of Roman law in Italy and about multilingualism in medieval English cities are presented. Another section is devoted to the problems of forming market law in 13th century England and the peculiarities of Venetian trade in the 15th century. A large section is allocated to the publication of archival materials from the epistolary legacy of E.A. Kosminsky and M.Ya. Syuzumov.
