The next issue publishes the materials of the conference "Royal Power, to know, the court in the Middle Ages", similar problems of power are affected in articles on the history of the medieval cities of the West and Russia. The central place is occupied by the traditional section "neighboring regions, related disciplines", which this time represents historical psychology, the stages of its formation, the works of the founders and followers. As always, a large place is given to publications of translations of diverse medieval sources (Treatise of Gregory of Turkish, a report of German ambassadors about events in Veliky Novgorod, Prologue to the Medieval Encyclopedia) New approaches to well -known literary works are demonstrated by work united in the heading "Historian in the Labyrinth of Literary Genres". The images of the power and society of England in the Middle Ages and the early New Time are in the focus of the authors of the section "imaginary England". The number also presents the sections "Medievistics at Russian universities", "chronicle", reviews and reviews for domestic and foreign publications.
