The issues of applied radio engineering related to the use of microwave technologies in the study of magnetized high-temperature plasma in toroidal controlled fusion devices are considered. Lectures on electron cyclotron resonance heating of high-temperature plasma with powerful gyrotron microwave radiation and on the transport of microwaves in quasi-optical paths of heating systems are presented. Non-contact radio physical diagnostics for studying plasma fluctuations using low-power radiation sources, as well as options for microwave collective scattering, are described.
