About the authors
Marye Hauberts studied dances and pedagogy and taught dancing in elementary school for more than ten years. In 1998, Mary won the competition of authors of songs. Since then, she has written songs, poems and stories for the program "Street Sesam" and lyrics for productions in the theater of Frank Grothof. On her account, texts to such famous productions as “Gilgamesh”, “Porgy and Bess",“ Vincent and Theo ”, "Shahrazada and Tales of 1001 Nights".

Since 2005, Maryet publishes his books with pictures in the publishing house, among which Fyodor has seven sisters, "Knight Florian" and "Adka-Pirate". The Adka-Piratka was awarded the Silver Griffel, preceding the same name for the book "Red Red Riding Hood was a good girl" in 2011.

"Adka-pirate" and "Knight Florian" became popular multi-part publications with numerous re-publications, theatrical productions and translations. Written specifically for the smallest, a book with the pictures "Koza is now a goat" became a book of the year in its category in 2016.

Marye lives and works in Utrecht, the Netherlands.

Iris Dapppe was born and grew up on a small island of Saint-Martin in the Caribbean. She moved to the Netherlands in 2002, where she again felt a love of drawing and art. Received a bachelor"s degree in the field of illustration in the Higher School of Arts of the city of Utrecht. In 2011, she received Grant Fip Vestentorp and since then decided to illustrate children"s books.
