This book is devoted to theoretical problems and the practical implementation of the metrological support of modern video information systems, including the assessment of the parameters and quality indicators of the formation of the formation, transmission and technique of video information. This monograph is a continuation of the topic considered by the authors in the book "Digital Video -Formation Systems. Theory and practice "(Technosphere, 2012) The book consists of 13 chapters.
The first chapter is devoted to the main issues of metrological support and the features of measurements and control in video information systems. In the second chapter, analog systems for the formation and transmission of video information are considered. The third chapter analyzes the parameters of digital broadcasting systems used in Russia. The fourth chapter discusses the methods of the synthesis of measuring signals to evaluate both analog and digital video transmission systems. The fifth chapter is devoted to increasing the accuracy of processing measuring signals when evaluating the parameters of video information systems. The sixth chapter presents classic and new window functions for harmonic analysis of signals. The seventh chapter discusses the main interfaces used in digital video information systems. The eighth chapter is devoted to evaluating distortions in digital-analysis video information systems. In the ninth and tenth chapters, measurement methods in the DVB DVB digital broadcasting systems are set out in detail, respectively. The eleventh chapter considers the problems of psychoacoustics and methods of perceptual assessment of the quality of sound signals. The twelfth chapter contains a description of the parameters and metrology of the domestic system of digital ground multimedia broadcasting Ravis. The thirteenth chapter provides information on the practical implementation of control and measurements in digital video information systems.
