The monograph presents a whole range of processing issues of images of persons in biometric problems: obtaining source data from real scenes, methods for analyzing and preparing images of persons, procedures for extracting signs, the functioning algorithms and the recognition system structure, as well as computer experiments. Contains a lot of test examples for known databases of persons, as well as practical recommendations at each stage of the implementation of a person"s recognition process on its face. The most frequently used and complex processing algorithms are presented in the form of vector-matrix procedures directly implemented in the Matlab programming language.
