Methods of discrimination of properties of concepts (MDSP)

The monographs described in the monographs" methodology of discrimination against properties and concepts (MDSP) was developed in 1978 and was recommended by the RSFSR Ministry of Health to use in scientific and practical purposes to diagnose thinking disorders during schizophrenia. Perennial use of MDST confirmed its significant diagnostic capabilities for neuro- and pathopsychological research. At the same time, the high sensitivity of the MDSP to the individual specific features of the intellectual functioning of healthy people, in particular, to the preferred cognitive style "specific-abstract conceptualization" is revealed. In the present form, MDSM is improved due to a more in-depth analysis of its theoretical foundations, the formalization of criteria, allowing to unambiguously interpret the results obtained, the statistical justification of validity, reliability, the development of parallel forms of the technique. This makes it possible to recommend the use of MDSM not only with neuro- and pathopsychological studies, but also in the areas of education, career guidance, trade force, rational personnel arrangement, etc
