The models, methods and algorithms of data analysis used in modern information processing systems are considered. The basic concepts and definitions of the general theory of information systems are given, the typical structure of information extraction systems and information processing systems is analyzed, and typical data analysis tasks in information processing systems and basic approaches to solve them are considered. The methods and algorithms used in solving the problems of evaluation, regression and filtering, recognition and clustering of images are presented. Classical and modern implementations of these algorithms are considered in the framework of statistical and deterministic approaches. The book and the publishing house give examples of building computer models among Matlab, representing the software implementation of data analysis algorithms
