Methodology of implementing the subject area of ORKSE in a general education school

Since 2012, the subject area 'Foundations of Religious Cultures and Secular Ethics' (FRCSSE), which is taught in the fourth grade of general education schools, has become an integral part of the unified educational space of the modern school, where the spiritual and moral development and education of the student are carried out, including lesson, extracurricular, and out-of-school activities. Over the past ten years of implementing the subject area, a sufficient pedagogical experience of teaching subjects (modules) of FRCSSE has been accumulated, familiarity with which will be useful for students of pedagogical specialties preparing to implement this course in their professional activities in accordance with the Federal State Educational Standards and the 'Professional Standard of a Teacher'. This publication is addressed to students of pedagogical training programs (bachelor's, master's), teachers teaching FRCSSE and the discipline 'Foundations of Spiritual and Moral Culture of the Peoples of Russia' in Russian general education schools.
