The monograph is dedicated to some contemporary theoretical and methodological issues of criminal law and criminology. The focus is on the noted difficulties in the interaction of these branches of scientific knowledge, the differences in their views on crime and criminality, and measures to establish law and order. Attention is paid to the peculiarities of the evolution of these views in terms of understanding the genesis of criminal behavior and attempts to change the type of rationality.
