Historians and philosophers argue about what Metaphysics of History is. Some consider this term a synonym for 'philosophy of history', while others see it as a synonym for 'historiosophy'. However, the author of this book disagrees with such approaches, believing that it is a separate field of knowledge. Metaphysics of History seeks answers to eternal questions about the beginning of human history, whether history has goals, and so on. In addition, according to V. Y. Katasonov, metaphysics can only be Christian, as only Christianity allows a person to penetrate into the causes, origins, and beginnings.
