Hello, dear reader! This brochure is an experience of making stoves for comfortable living in field conditions.
After being discharged from the Armed Forces, I completed a course for stove makers. Life turned out in such a way that stoves became an integral part of my existence.
The book follows a sequence of presentation - making stoves from tank barrels, a cooking-heating stove for a summer cottage, stoves using sawdust.
Very interesting stoves using sawdust. They are simple in design and very economical.
The bottom-burning stove is interesting in terms of its burning principle. The combustion takes place in the lower part of the wood stack. Wood can be loaded into the stove while it is operating, i.e. the stove can work continuously.
Two designs of bath stoves are highlighted as a separate topic, with the disadvantages and positive aspects of both designs provided.
The idea of protecting the fuel chamber with a chamotte lining is emphasized, both in bath stoves and in the cooking-heating stove for a summer cottage.
And finally, the most important thing:
These stoves were made by me and my comrades in service and work. In other words, they are not the ultimate truth.
Currently, there is a huge variety of homemade stoves as well as factory-made metal stoves, both domestic and imported.
In this book, I share my experience on this topic. I want to share this experience.
